The basic tier is run on Foundations Technologies, Inc. run servers that reside in Newark, DE at the Hostmysite.com Datacenters. Automated backups sent offsite and then replicated to a second set of servers. There is also an option to enable a local copy of the backups for an additional layer of protection. The advanced tier is our Business Disaster Recovery system. We install an additional server at your location that can backup your Windows based servers as frequently as every 15 minutes. These image based backups are then replicated offsite to two datacenters in Hagerstown, MD and Phoenix, AZ. The backups are known as Bare Metal Restoration capable, which means that they can be restored to a new physical server, should your current machine be damaged irreparably.
The biggest advantage to our Business Disaster Recovery system is that it can also take over for a failed server. We simply load your backup image into a Virtual Machine on the NAS and you can be back up and running in about 30 minutes.
