So I have been reading a lot about Xobni recently, most notably on Lifehacker, and finally received my invite to try the product today. Download was simple and easy, and after about 5 minutes, it had scanned my recent e-mails and moved on to indexing the rest of my mail.

Even after just a few minutes of using the product I can see the appeal. Xobni provides instant access to recent e-mail threads, attachments, and even a graph of when you receive e-mail from your contact, which can let the guess work out of when you can expect a response back.

The short version: Xobni provides a lot of features that I think one can expect to find in the next version of Outlook, today. I’d recommend trying out the product, and btw, I have five invites left.
