Seems that Microsoft has withdrawn its offer to purchase Yahoo. Easiest way to find more details is to hit the Slashdot article. Frankly I’m very happy to hear this news, as I’ve had some talks and discussions about possibly using Zimbra recently, but was possibly going to delay or scuttle those projects due to the Microsoft possibly purchasing Yahoo.

Most of the reasons I held for not wanting to move forward with the project mostly had to do with the fact that Microsoft has a stellar reputation for killing projects of companies that it purchases that conflict with their flagship products. Zimbra is an Exchange competitor, so hence the fear it would die a cruel and painful death.
